This month, the English Club returns with a thought-provoking theme: “Think Fast, Think Slow in the AI Era”.
It’s a chance for us to come together, exchange ideas, and reflect on how artificial intelligence is reshaping not only the speed but also the quality of our decisions.

Why this theme?
In today’s AI-powered world, speed often feels like everything. With just one click, AI can analyze massive datasets, recognize patterns, and deliver instant insights. But speed alone does not guarantee the right outcome.
The true art lies in knowing:
- When to act fast – to seize opportunities and adapt quickly.
- When to slow down – to reflect, think critically, and uphold strategy, ethics, and long-term vision.
Only by balancing both can we harness AI’s promise while preserving the distinctly human qualities that guide wise decisions.
