SGT English Workshop #10 – Growth Mindset: The New Psychology of Success

How do we define success — by proving our intelligence, or by continuously learning and evolving?
In our 10th English Workshop (November 15th 2025), our participants explored Carol S. Dweck’s powerful concept of the Growth Mindset, a theory that has transformed the way people learn, lead, and live worldwide.
Through interactive discussions, a self-assessment quiz from Psychology Today, and group debates, participants reflected on how mindset shapes our reactions to failure, effort, and opportunity. Together, we uncovered that:
People with a Fixed Mindset focus on validation and perfection — avoiding risks, fearing mistakes, and striving to “look smart.”
Those with a Growth Mindset embrace feedback, adapt strategies, and see every challenge as a chance to grow.

“Success isn’t about proving who we are — it’s about becoming who we can be.”
Thank you to all attendees for your openness and enthusiasm. Your curiosity and courage to reflect made this workshop truly meaningful.
